Cancellation Policy

By making this booking, you (the Client) agree to the following booking terms: 1. Cancellations will incur penalties. However, rescheduling is most welcome. Contact me directly via email (greater.hope.counselling@gmail.com) if you need to reschedule. 2. Counselling is a therapeutic journey. As your Counselling Practitioner (therapist), I take your health journey seriously and endeavour to engage you, wherever you are at, in that journey. I provide you with a safe, non-judgemental space to be able to explore where you are at, with regards to the state of your emotional, mental and spiritual health. My aim is to help you find what you need in order to move through seasons of feeling overwhelmed, confused, stuck, or whatever you sense is stopping your progress in life. Your willingness to engage this journey is your choice and I will support you accordingly. 3. All content in your session is treated with utmost confidentiality and you privacy and personal details are kept safe. As is the case for all responsible practitioners, I am obligated to report intentions of harm (to yourself or to others). However, I will always consult you (the Client) as to with whom we engage to report this information to, and will work with you, wherever possible, to continue to support you. 4. Counselling is a very personal therapeutic experience and it is vital that you engage with a Counsellor with whom you feel safe and comfortable. I endeavour to offer all my clients this experience. However, as is the case with most personal treatments, there can be reached, a stage where you may need to be referred to another practitioner, when more specific support is required, that is out of my scope to provide. In this instance I will work with you to find the right direction, to continue moving forward. 5. I hold valid and current membership to registration bodies within Australia, and as such, possess the academic qualifications, insurances and personal ethical standards that are required to meet registration and licencing requirements.
